About Rosie Paulsen
"Pure positive, Inspiring ideas"
Rosie has been servicing the Medicare population since 2005. Her journey began in Quito, Ecuador where she was born, she later moved to the United States in 1988. Her drive and perseverance has led to many admired accomplishments. She is known as the natural networker in the business community. Recently, Rosie accepted a position as an independent business development executive with Gaceta Latina, the first and longest running Hispanic newspaper in the area.
As a civic leader, Rosie believes in economic growth through collaboration, and through this collaborative work in community leadership organizations, she has fostered various business partnerships. In December 2009 Rosie founded the Pasco/Hernando Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and is currently the President Emeritus. She is also a founding member and community liaison for La Liga Latina, a professional group that provides education to the Hispanic community.
Rosie’s recognitions and awards include: Pace Setter with American Express; Presidents Club with Humana; Tampa Bay Hispanic Leadership class 2012, business category; and Rosie’s company, GFIS, received small business of the year for 2012. Her business was also the second recipient of the Pasco Economic Development Council Micro Loan in 2012.
Rosie is also a member of the Hispanic Professional Women’s Association (HPWA), the Lake Jovita Business Woman Association, and the Senior Information Resource Group (SIR), an organization dedicated to serving the retirement community. She also serves the New Tampa chapter of the Christian Business Connection (CBC).
Rosie is recognized as a community mentor, and was selected to serve on Congressman Gus Bilarakis’ Central Pasco Advisory Committee. She also serves on the Rasmussen College of Business Advisory Committee.
Rosie is a proud wife and mother to three children: Tabatha, Steven, and Krystle. Her ultimate goal as a mentor to her family, friends, and community, is to help restore society through her brand: Pure Positive, Inspiring Ideas, which reflects her goal to help restore society through inspiration, determination, and her Pure Positive attitude.
